My Oh My RITA!!
Well, it's all OVER thank GOODness, and we were lucky and got little rain and wind. WheW! I was scared.
As I might be okay, my grandparents aren't. Their house, located around liberty, in the next couple of days might be nothing but rubble in a lake of muddy water. They live in a nice 3 story house, and it might be destroyed because a dam might break flooding Liberty and surrounding areas. Please PRAY for them.
It took us 12 hours to get to DALLAS, but luckly when I got there I had so MUCH fun! I was in an amazing one story house with three OTHER families, and I LOVED IT! I was sad to go, but oh well.
Driving up to Dallas was the worst THING EvEr!!! I will NEVER do something like that again. I had to drive up and back to and from Dallas the WHOLE WAY! But of course, I took my camera. :)

I had all the necessities while I traveled: my dog, FOOD, a pillow, a blanket, luggage, a bucket (you all know why...which we didn't use), and my camera of course

Man...people FOUGHT for GAS. Did we?? HECK NO!!!

(before)

(after)
Traffic was HORRIBLE! This was the street that we spent 3 hours on and only traveled 4 miles

The WONDERful house we stadyed in

Me (which I look bad....and if you don't know I cut my hair 3 inches shorter) and my Brother, who was riding with me on the way home, before we left for Houston. And the sign says: Rita Refugee Traffic Jam Survivors (hey....I thought it was funny)
Hope you ALL were SAFE and I LOVE you guys.....and until NEXT time:
